Why am I starting a blog called Unashamed? Because I want it to be known that I am not ashamed to be a Christian. Not just a Christian, but a Christian out in the open. One that will not be afraid to speak the truth. Why do I feel the need to do this? Because I have felt the hands of persecution on the Christian faith in this country we call "free", and I will not be silent about it.
I am not writing in the hopes of starting petty internet debates about who is right and who is wrong. I am writing to affirm my own faith and to avoid conforming to a world in which beliefs, values and purposes change on a minute-by-minute basis. My faith is not "any way the wind blows". My faith is not based on "what I want and when I want it". My faith is based on solid truths spoken by the Son of God two thousand years ago.
